Academy thesis project. As Taiwan Blue Magpie for the design concept representing residence’s characteristic of strong home-defensed, natural elegant, solidarity community and future retrievals. The building is like a bird nest siting on the sloping hill. By removing the original stairway up to the top level at the middle front, I create a sense of security awning inspired from the zig-zag roof and the beak. The front entry provide visitors a safe and friendly welcome shelter.
